Me on our restoration project (A.P. Treat, Cathedral Ledge, NH)

Dave Penny sending the restored 1981 line A.P. Treat, 5.8

Ok...it has been far too long since my last post. A great deal has gone on since. Three or four new routes have gone at Attitash Crag as well as Humphreys Ledge and I am currently spying a potential route at Cathedral...we will see.

My partner Bob and I have also been busy uncovering, cleaning and re-equipping some of the old lost classics at Cathedral. AP Treat is now cleaned and good to go and we are in the process of cleaning and re-bolting a 5.10c called Worm Drive near the Thin Air Face. It is exciting seeing these routes being done again.

So far we have authored:

  1. Trepidation, 5.10b/c (Attitash Crag)

  2. Lost Boys, 5.9 (Attitash Crag)

  3. Under Toe, 5.8+ (Humphrey's Ledge)

  4. Stepp'n Out, 5.10b/c R (Humphrey's Ledge)

  5. Kitty Litter Pillar, 5.8 (Humphrey's Ledge)

  6. Lost and Found, 5.10c (Humphrey's Ledge)

A great Day with Tuft's University on Mt. Willard

Left Hand Monkey Wrench to Upper East Face Slabs (right) and Upper Hitchock Gully 2/5/10

Austin takes the sharp end for pitch 1

Erin, Noah and Chris find things to laugh about despite the hour and a half wait and biting cold! :)

A succesful day on Mount Willard. The crew packs up and heads home for pizza and local brew!

My new Bike

So I sold the 1977 Kz and bought this 1981 Suzuki GS 850 G (shaft drive) and it is a complete blast to drive.
